We invite proposals for half-day and full-day workshops to be held as part of IEEE CCTA 2027. Workshops will take place on Sunday, August 22, 2027, preceding the main conference program.

Workshops should address one of the following:

  • Emerging control technologies, benchmarks, and applications
  • State-of-the-art control methods arising from academic–industry collaborations
  • Tutorials on control technologies for industrial or societal applications

Submission

Workshop proposals must be submitted through PaperPlaza by April 15, 2027. Each proposal must include:

1. The title of the workshop

2. A description of the technical topics covered, emphasizing the timeliness of the proposed workshop

3. The workshop organizers (names, affiliations, and contact information)

4. The names of the proposed speakers, together with a statement addressing the diversity of the speakers along dimensions such as gender, geography, and industry/academia affiliation. We welcome any additional forms of diversity you wish to highlight. If assembling a diverse program has proven particularly challenging, please describe the efforts you made to increase diversity.

5. The duration of the workshop (half day or full day)

6. Where applicable, a description of past editions of the workshop

Selection and registration

A subset of the submitted proposals will be selected and offered to potential participants, including both CCTA registrants and others. The final set of workshops will be confirmed after the early registration deadline, based on the number of registrations each workshop receives. Workshop registrations will be accepted until room capacity is reached.
